I recently came across this short video which brings to light another common source of toxins, cosmetics. I won’t bother to reiterate everything contained in the video, just watch it – it’s relatively short and easy to digest.
I have not personally verified the facts regarding the specific regulation (or lack thereof) of cosmetics in the U.S., however, considering that Bryan Walsh of TIME magazine and reporters at the Chicago Tribune seem to be confirming the facts, I think there is a lot of credibility here.
If, in fact, it is not required by law to list all ingredients on the label, that is of great concern to me. I don’t care if it’s only tiny fractions of a percent – these things add up!
